The Colegio San Felipe de Arecibo bases its philosophy on the principles contained in the pastoral letter addressed to the formation and organization Aspects of Education in Catholic Schools in Puerto Rico. The Church believes that a true Christian education is the means through which greater efficiency meets his divine mission to encourage everyone their human perfection and thus achieve a more humane world by developing concepts essential to a life of Justice, peace, Love and Dignity. According to this Catholic Christian education, all faculty; religious and laity, strive to be people of integrity, so that the learner in turn can be guided in various aspects of spiritual, intellectual, cultural, civic and social life.
