San Juan Ophthalmology Group is led by Dr. Raul Franceschi, retina subspecialist ophthalmologist. Dr. Raul Franceschi is "Board Certified" by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. We serve as general ophthalmology and cataract surgery evaluation over everything related to diseases and conditions of the retina such as diabetic retinopathy, macollar degeneration and retinal detachment. We use the most modern methods of vitrectomy surgery, lasers and intravitreal injections. Once completed treatment either medical or surgical options include optical glasses for consideration or evaluation of "Low Vision" for those patients with less vision.
