Optómetras Pacheco

The renowned Puerto Rican family Optometrists Pacheco has been at forefront of this profession, providing best eye care since 1909. Dr. Antonio Pacheco graduated from St. Louis College and was a pioneer of his profession in Puerto Rico. In 1909 he won the first optometric license granted by the Puerto Rico Board of Medical Examiners.

The Optometric Historical Society has published fact that the distinguished family of San Juan Pacheco has international recognition of owning the world record after practicing optometry licensure. In the first generation Dr. Sixto Pacheco was appointed by the Honorable Theodore Roosevelt to the first Board of Examiners for Optometrists.

In second generation Dr. Antonio L. Pacheco was appointed to Board of Examiners by Honorable Roberto Sánchez Vilella and Dr. Sixto R. Pacheco was appointed by Honorable Rafael Hernández Colón.

In third generation, the Honorable Carlos Romero Barceló appointed Dr. Ramon Pacheco. In this third generation currently practiced Dr. Sixto D. Pacheco who graduated from School of Optometry at Indiana University in 1977. In June 1998, the eldest daughter of Dr. Ramon Pacheco, Camille, who earned his doctorate from the School of Optometry of the University.

She is first woman optometrist Family doctors Pacheco, besides showing the distinction of being the first person in that profession fourth generation. In June 2005, the youngest daughter of Dr. Ramon Pacheco, Monique, graduated Doctor of Optometry of the University.

It is second optometrist woman Pacheco family doctors and the second of the fourth generation who practices optometry in Puerto Rico, a distinction in any profession.

Currently offering professional services in San Patricio Plaza, next to Bed Bath and Beyond, where they deliver eyeglasses in an hour, in most cases.
