MGV Geotechnical Group, PSC, provides geotechnical and geological consulting services for public and private interests in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The company performs geotechnical investigations and consulting services, geological and hydrogeological studies, environmental assessments, geoenvironmental drilling, monitoring well installation, soil and concrete testing services, and earthwork construction quality control.

Our affiliated soil and aggregate testing facilities and quality system have been inspected, reviewed and accredited by the AASHTO R-18 Program. A list of accredited testing standards is also presented herein. In addition, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has validated our current AASHTO accreditation with USACE processes and standards. Our professional staff has provided geotechnical consulting services for housing developments, commercial developments, high-rise buildings, custom single-family homes, slope stability analysis, ground improvement recommendations, retaining walls, sinkhole evaluation, state roads and highways, schools, bridges, hospitals, among others.
