Thanks to the contribution of this great leader Cooperative Vegabajeño Mr. Roberto Ramos Barreto, on January 16, 1953 a voice of commutative interest in order to create a cooperative serving the needs of a people rose. Over the last 59 years, the Cooperative Savings and Credit Vegabajeña has been one of the institutions with more participation and credibility in the town of Vega Baja while allowing foster growth and provide quality financial services to its members. The vision of the Cooperative is offering financial Server excellence to the community of Vega Baja and other nearby towns, with prompt service, service predominates over profit and growth of human beings in Puerto Rico.
