The Puerto Rico Medical Oncology Center offers medical evaluations to patients with cancer and malignant and benign blood conditions.
In addition, we provide medical evaluations to patients with conditions of:
• Anemia
• Platelets
• Bleeding
• Other blood diseases
For these and other conditions, we have an infusion room in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Dr. Solalba Bueno is a sub-specialist in both Oncology and Hematology. She is a graduate of the Medical Center training program, and is Board Certified in both specialties.
Prior to this, she completed her specialty in Internal Medicine at the Puerto Rico Veterans Hospital program. She is also Board Certified in the specialty of Internal Medicine. During her training she received awards from the American College of Physicians Puerto Rico Chapter for case presentations.
Currently, she is an active member of the Puerto Rico Society of Medical Oncologists. She is also President of the Transfusion Committee of Sabanera Health Hospital and was part of the Board of Directors of the Association of Hematology and Oncology for the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
