UPM Group originated 27 years ago from the need for top line service to building automation systems in Puerto Rico. Our Company was founded around a core value of responsive service at affordable cost, providing 24/7 emergency service; 4 hour response; and dedicated Facility Solutions Engineers to ensure customer satisfaction and to suggest facility performance upgrades. Over time, prompted by many of our customers affected by less rigorous, unresponsive small mechanical maintenance outfits, UPM Group expanded into mechanical maintenance for the underlying HVAC hardware, including as chillers, air handlers, Dx units, and pumps. At the same time, our software and electrical engineering expertise led to growth in the fire safety and security segments. Today, we serve more than 250 primarily large commercial and industrial clients with our staff of more than 40 professionals, including 7 engineers and 33 technicians. Over 140 clients have chosen UPM Group to be the contracted preventive maintenance provider in the areas of building automation, HVAC, mechanical, fire safety, security and electrical systems.
