Dr. Lugo Adams is formally trained in Cardiac Electrophysiology (ablations, pacemakers, defibrillators, biventricular, tilt table test); And Interventional Cardiology (percutaneous, coronary and peripheral vascular interventions). Dr. Lugo Adams also trained in the percutaneous treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and in the percutaneous treatment for correction of interatrial wall defects in adults. Other interests of Dr. Lugo Adams include: ablation of atrial fibrillation, intracardiac echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiogram. Dr. Lugo Adams also performs catheterizations and percutaneous interventions by the wrist "radials" and with conscious sedation for the comfort of his patients.
