Our cooperative was born in Ponce on March 13, 1971, where (9) teachers Ponce (1) Salinas (1) Guayanilla joined the Credit Union Federation of Teachers of Puerto Rico.
On 29 June 1971 the Inspector of Cooperatives signed permission to operate as an organized society according to the Law on Credit Cooperatives Societies Puerto Rico.
The number of members is now 7,500.
