Casa Mofongo Founded in 2005, is considered the home of mofongo in Puerto Rico. The vision of the company is to offer rich Creole food made with quality ingredients, including Puerto Rican products, to honor its motto "like eating at home". Casa Mofongo Restaurant first opened that same year in the town of Bayamón and to date still receive the same support as in the first day. The success of this first restaurant led the company to develop a new concept with an easily accessible format, more "express". Thus was born the new "Casa Mofongo Xpress", a type model "quick service restaurant" in which the same dedication and quality of the original restaurant is preserved, but with an offering adapted to locations in the "foodcourts" and similar locations . Immediately, the innovative model Casa Mofongo Xpress, caught the attention of people interested in acquiring franchises and is for this reason that in 2012 the first franchise rights for "Casa Mofongo Xpress" are granted. Thus began the first franchise in Rio Hondo Mall in Bayamón, then Toa Baja on Carr. # 2 and subsequently Caguas in Las Catalinas Mall. At the moment the company has four locations in operation and several more in negotiation. Our next opening Casa Mofongo Xpress is for June 2016 in Mayagüez Mall. Casa Mofongo Restaurant located in Rexville Town Center in Bayamón is a concept for the whole family, in a pleasant atmosphere and especially with an offer of good taste; delicious typical Creole food at affordable prices for everyone. The Casa Mofongo Xpress fall into the category of "Quick Service Restaurant". The food is fresh as this is cooked daily and most of the dishes are freshly prepared. For this reason our concept is very different and superior to the concepts of fast food cataloged as "fast food". Our menu is varied and make you feel "like eating at home, with a wide variety of meats, seafood, rice, soups, asopaos and our very famous mofongos. We also have a variety of delicious desserts.
