Villa Gilda is located on Puerto Rico's Caribbean South Western Coast in the town of Guanica, just 35 minutes from Ponce and 2 hours from San Juan. A beautiful scenic drive 90 miles southwest of San Juan takes you there. From San Juan, take Highway 52 to Ponce, West on Road 2 and South on Route 116 to Guanica. Follow Route 333 up the beautiful scenic mountain to Cana Gorda (beach); Villa Gilda no-frills summer rentals is located at Km7 (seven) house #21. You'll find two full efficiency summer "apartments". One two bedroom fully furnished house; enclosed in a quiet residential area fenced off 4 acres surrounded by the Guanica Dry Forest Reserve. You'll sense the peacefulness of the Puerto Rican culture within gorgeous sunsets, coral beaches, hiking trails and over 700 different species of plants observe 40 of the 111 species of birds that live on the island. You fall in love the first night you see the sky full of stars and hear the sounds of the island of Puerto Rico.
