Among the new brands that make up CC1 Foods and after several years of negotiation, in August 2015 the acquisition of the company Kikuet, a purely Puerto Rican company dedicated to the production of hors d'oeuvres for all occasions, was carried out. Located in 2 main facilities, Carolina and Canovanas and with over 250 employees in Kikuet, frozen meals and entremeses are elaborated that include templates, empanadillas, pastelillos, salsas, arepas, tacos, pies and alcapurrias among other great variety of foods destined to comply with the Taste of the Puerto Rican palate. This market leader still uses handmade manufacturing processes consistent with Puerto Rico's most treasured culinary traditions. Currently under an aggressive innovation project Kikuet is preparing to revitalize its packaging to continue the evolution of the brand and its commitment to offer products of the highest quality in addition to the development of new alternatives in hors d'oeuvres to meet the needs of our consumers. These future plans have allowed us to export our products to the US market among other potential markets around the world. For all these reasons we confirm that KIKUET has the taste for our own.
