Huertas College, is a post-secondary education institution located in the town of Caguas, for 76 years.
Its vision is: to be an educational institution of excellence in teaching and service for the benefit of the community. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and approved by the Puerto Rico Council on Education. In addition, it is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) for the Health Information Management Technology program; by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) for the Associate Degree in Physical Therapy; and the Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
The institution offers a wide variety of academic programs in three main schools: Health, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Technical. It has an Interdisciplinary Simulation Clinic where students practice their skills in a real work setting.
