The speech and language therapy is the treatment for the majority of children with speech disabilities and learning the language. The language disabilities relate to problems with the production of sounds, while the problems with the learning of the language are the difficulties in combining the words to express ideas. Language disorders can be receptive or expressive. The receptive disorders refer to the difficulties to understand the language or process. The disorders include expressive difficulties in combining words, limited vocabulary or inability to use the language in a way that is socially appropriate.
