More than 50 years ago, Don Alonso Rios, a farmer from the mountains of Aguas Buenas, with twelve children to support, peasants prayed to God and asked "a way to support his family." Hence the idea of ​​starting a business that would provide service grocery store, where the whole family could work arises. The business, which entonce called El Pocito Dulce, became the meeting place of people in the area. While the owners began to offer "picadera" fried meat to its customers, (which is now known as the specialty of the house and the best fried meat with onions in Puerto Rico) "We Pa'Los Gorditos" became a colloquial phrase among people in the area, based on personality and physical owners. phrase that eventually, the place took as its name: "Los Gorditos". So this family of Aguas Buenas started his business creole food. A tradition of flavor that has transcended three generations currently under the administration of his grandchildren, who have the task of keeping this tradition alive.
