At Funeraria Alternative we have over 40 years of experience and all of our Funeral Directors are specially trained to help our families finalize all aspects of the funeral. They will make all the necessary arrangements to leave your loved one in our care, complete all the necessary paperwork to implement... the funeral service choices made, and direct the posthumous honors of your loved one. Alternative & Torres Memorial Funeral Home is committed to accompanying, comforting and offering pastoral funeral services to individuals and families as they experience the death of a loved one. We offer a full range of funeral services. They are a celebration of faith that allows loved ones and the community to mourn, emphasizing the promise of eternal life and the hope of resurrection in Christ. We offer two distinct rites at the time of the funeral. Each rite serves an important purpose in guiding our family and friends through the loss, grief and healing journey. The two rites include:

• Funeral service:

This is the beginning of the Christian funeral celebration, where family and friends join together to reaffirm that life has not ended. It is the commemoration of Christ's sacrifice and is a reminder that we are one with Christ in life, death and resurrection. Here family and friends gather to say goodbye for the last time with the comfort and promise of eternal life in the resurrection.
We arrange for a Priest, minister or pastor or others duly certified for this purpose, coordinated by our staff. A stipend for the officiant is suggested to the family member in charge.

• The Vigil and Wake:

The vigil and wake are often the first time family and friends gather for prayer and support, in remembrance of a treasured life.
