Dr. Aurelio Ruiz is a Pediatric Dentist with offices in Manatí and Bayamón, with more than 30 years of experience, he offers expanded dental services, including service for anxious children, children with fear of the dentist, children with special needs and infants who present behavioral problems in the dental environment. It offers comprehensive full mouth oral rehabilitation treatment in a single visit and provides treatment of all of your child's cavities and dental needs under general anesthesia at PR Children's Hospital in Bayamon, PR.

Our motto is to save all teeth for good oral health, so that their function and the aesthetics of a nice smile are maintained. We avoid extracting teeth as much as possible, to preserve space and save the patient future expenses in braces.

Dr. Ruiz also performs dental eruption guidance treatment to monitor space and accommodation of teeth, palate expansion and preventive and interceptive orthodontic treatment. We place braces to align teeth and perform maxillofacial orthopedic treatment in patients with retrognathic jaw and convex or “bunny” type profiles. We replace anterior teeth in pre-school patients who have lost their anterior teeth due to non-restorable decay, on the same day they receive dental extractions, so your child will never look toothless or “nicked”.

Dr. Ruiz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Society of Dentistry for Children. He was trained at the University of PR School of Dental Medicine and the University Pediatric Hospital. He was director of the Dental Clinic of the Manatí Area Hospital for 16 years. He was also president of the Dental Examining Board of PR for 4 years. He is currently dedicated exclusively to his private practice.
