Our cooperative was born in Ponce on March 13, 1971, where (9) teachers from Ponce, (1) from Salinas and (1) from Guayanilla incorporated the Credit Union of the Federation of Teachers of Puerto Rico.
On June 29, 1971, the Cooperative Inspector signed the permit to operate as an organized corporation under the Cooperative Credit Societies Act of Puerto Rico.
The number of partners at present is 7,500.
